WHAT WE DO
Baja Traverse are fully supported, staged, 140-kilometer, coast to coast TREK and ULTRA TRAIL RUN events in one of the most beautiful, pristine, rugged and isolated areas in Baja California Sur (BCS), Mexico.
Baja Traverse 6-day trail TREK starts in the charming Pacific coastal town of Todos Santos that takes you uphill towards stunning desert and cactus views over the highest mountain range in the BCS peninsula – the Sierra La Laguna Biosphere Reserve & National Park. Your adventure will continue downhill through desert and mountain ecosystems ending at the Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park in the Sea of Cortez.
Baja Traverse 3-day ULTRA TRAIL RUN follows the same route but in reverse order. It starts at Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park in the Sea of Cortes and ends in the town of Todos Santos on the Pacific coast. Moreover you can choose a shorter 90km 3-day ultra trail as a less strenuous option.

Edgardo is founder, owner and operator of Baja Traverse and Baja Sierra Adventures. Edgardo has over 20 years with adventure travel in the Baja California peninsula. He is a nature enthusiast, hiker and has a deep understanding of the natural history of Baja California. He lives in Santiago with his wife and children.
Roberto Velazquez
Roberto is a key partner and an ultra marathon runner. He is our principal guide for all excursions. Roberto has over 15 years experience managing running and trekking events in Baja California.
